Guidelines to getting married at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland

The following are guidelines to the procedure of registering a marriage and the solemnisation of marriage at the ICCI or at an alternative venue, solemnised by our Imam Hussein Halawa.

Please note that all marriages carried out at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland or at an alternative venue, and solemnised by Imam Hussein Halawa, are civil registered marriages. Therefore the steps/procedures that should be followed are those steps you will find on the HSE website:https://www2.hse.ie/services/births-deaths-and-marriages/

  1. The applicant should contact the civil marriage office to take an appointment. (You will find a list of registry offices in Ireland below, or alternatively you can browse the HSE website)
